- Physical Expectations: The drive to the northern tip of the island features winding coastal roads. Reaching the salt pond requires walking down a long, well-constructed flight of concrete steps (approximately 150-200 steps). The walk down is easy, but the return walk back up requires a reasonable level of physical fitness.
- Footwear: Sturdy walking shoes or secure water shoes are highly recommended, as the volcanic rocks around the pond can be slippery and sharp.
Owia Salt Pond Coastal Adventure
